Our Staff

Coastal Engineering & Testing Company is fully qualified to perform Geo-technical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering and Testing of all construction materials and procedures, and maintains an approved testing laboratory in Charleston, South Carolina. Our equipment and procedures meet the requirements outlined in ASTM E-329 "Recommended Practice For Inspection and Testing Agencies For Concrete, Steel, and Bituminous Materials Used In Construction."

Team Structure

A major factor in CETCO's success is that we guarantee Principal involvement in your project. Our proposed Project Team will be made up of minimally of our Chief Engineer, Construction Services Manager, and our on staff Environmental Services Geologist.

In addition to the key individuals listed above, our staff includes a complete complement of field and laboratory technicians and administrative personnel, all of whom are very qualified to perform the services required for your projects.

Construction Services Manager

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Mr. Susko brings over 10 years collective experience in the construction and environmental industries. He has in-depth experience in geo-technical consulting and special inspections with large international corporations and projects.

Rob Susko

President, Chief Engineer

A Civil Engineering graduate of Georgia Tech, brings over 29 years of experience in geo-technical investigations, hydro-geologic studies, and construction consulting in the Charleston area and surrounding Low-Country and Pee Dee areas, and is Founder and President of the firm. Mr. Allen is very knowledgeable with the regional geo-technical and construction conditions in the Charleston area, having been involved with over 3,500 local projects and sites.

Environmental Services, Geologist (SC License #2596)

Bachelor of Science in Geology from the College of Charleston, Mr. Taylor is a SC registered Geologist . Mr. Taylor bring 10 years of experience in the engineering, environmental, & materials testing. He has extensive experience in conducting Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, Asbestos surveys, Vapor Encroachment Screens, soil and groundwater sampling projects, lease closeout environmental assessments, environmental paper audits, construction loan draw inspections and other engineering and environmental project requirements
